Energy Manager
Jack McCarthy
Jack McCarthy, Energy Manager at Simplified Power, has been with the company since 2023. He graduated with both a Finance degree and an MBA from Lamar University, where he was also a three-year starter for the football team.
Jack currently resides in Houston and enjoys spending time with his fiancée and cats. A diehard Houston Texans fan — if they are playing, he is watching.
He has always looked forward to working alongside his father and takes pride in providing hands-on support for all of Simplified Power’s clients.
President & CEO
Dan McCarthy
Dan McCarthy, President and CEO at Simplified Power, founded the company in 2005. He has been in the deregulated power industry since 2001 and has worked with some of the most prominent suppliers in Texas.
A native Houstonian, Dan attended the University of Houston and currently resides in Cypress, Texas. Dan enjoys spending time in the Texas Hill Country with family and participating in most any outdoor activities, including boating and hiking.
Dan considers both faith and patriotism to be his strongest attributes.

Crystal Carey
Crystal Carey has been serving customers in the electrical industry since 2018, bringing a strong commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Known for her friendly approach and dedication, Crystal takes pride in building lasting relationships by ensuring every customer receives a positive experience from start to finish.
Crystal recently made the move to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where she continues to serve her community with professionalism and integrity. Her passion for helping people, attention to detail, and customer-first mindset make her a trusted resource for those she works with.
When she’s not working, Crystal enjoys spending time with her five children, creating lasting family memories, and exploring all that the Hill Country has to offer. She also enjoys shopping, sightseeing, and boating on the water. Crystal’s genuine care for others and commitment to excellence are reflected in everything she does, both professionally and personally.

Tracy “Patches” Gaspard
Tracy “Patches” Gaspard serves as Vice President of Acquisitions at Simplified Power and has worked as a consultant in the deregulated energy industry since 2008. A native Houstonian, she attended the University of Houston and currently resides in Cypress, Texas.
Patches brings an extensive background in customer service and sales, having developed her work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. She is known for her positive attitude, reliability, and strong commitment to keeping her word.
As the mother of a daughter with special needs, Patches is also actively involved in the special-needs community and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Her compassion, integrity, and dedication are reflected in both her professional work and her personal life.
